Cerai talaq in Kedah: a newer enactment, the same permission rule

Cerai talaq in Kedah still means your husband needs the court’s permission before he pronounces talaq, decided under the Enakmen Undang-Undang Keluarga Islam (Kedah Darul Aman) 2008.^[1] Being newer than most other states’ laws, its section numbers do not match what you read for elsewhere.
