Standard of Proof (Standard Pembuktian)

Standard of proof is the level of evidence the court needs before it accepts a claim as established fact in your case.

In civil-type (mal) proceedings like fasakh or maintenance, the court weighs evidence on a balance of probabilities, meaning more likely true than not.

In real cases, this means witness testimony, documents and supporting evidence like messages or a police report all help meet that level.

The standard required is different for Syariah criminal proceedings, which sets a higher bar.
