Mas Kahwin: the wife's right from the akad nikah

Mas kahwin is the mandatory gift a husband gives his wife at the akad nikah, and it becomes her absolute right once the akad is valid.

The amount is agreed before the akad ceremony and usually recorded on the marriage certificate, either paid in full at the akad or partly deferred.

If any deferred balance is never paid, the wife has the right to claim it, including in specific situations such as the husband remarrying without court permission.^[1]
