Kausa: your case file at the Syariah Court

Kausa is the official record of a case at the Syariah Court, with its own unique case number. It opens as soon as the court registers the application.

The kausa number appears on every document tied to that case, such as affidavits, summonses, and court orders. For example, when you check a case status through e-Syariah, you need the kausa number to see the mention date or latest progress.

One kausa can cover more than one claim, such as a divorce filed together with a child maintenance claim, if both are submitted at the same time.
