Cerai Fast Track: the quick route for an agreed divorce

Cerai fast track is a route that lets a mutual-consent divorce be completed in a much shorter time than an ordinary case, because there is no contested issue left to hear.

Selangor was the first state to introduce this route, and the Federal Territories also run it. An eligible case can often be closed in a single court session, compared with the longer ordinary process.

Not every state formally confirms this fast route, so check with your state’s Syariah Court on whether it is offered. A case that still has a contested issue does not qualify for it.
