Appeal (Rayuan)

An appeal asks the Syariah appellate court to review a decision made by a Hakim Syarie at the lower level.

It is usually used when a party believes the decision was wrong in law or fact, not simply because they are unhappy with the outcome.

In real cases, an appeal must be filed within the set time limit after the decision, or the right to appeal can lapse.
