Court Confirmation Order: what it means in a divorce case

A court confirmation order is a formal Syariah Court decision that confirms a fact or an action, such as a talaq pronounced outside court.

The most common example is confirming an out-of-court talaq, where the husband pronounces it in person or by message, and it must be reported and confirmed by the court to be validly registered.^[1]
